A large adult male polar bear stops what it's doing to look at the photographer in the high Arctic in Canada. Large makes are dangerous and utmost care must be taken when working in close proximity to male bears. Large males can and do attack mother polar bears and cubs which is why, if at all possible, males are avoided.
