Endemic to arid region of inland Australia, Yellow Footed Rock Wallabies, in warm weather, regularly lick themselves to maintain a constant body temperature. Yellow Footed Rock Wallabies rarely venture from the safety of the steep rocky cliffs they inhabit except at night when they feed on flower heads and grasses along creek beds.
