Banded Sea Snake (Laticauda colubrina) - Philippines

Banded Sea Snake (Laticauda colubrina) - Philippines..Banded sea snakes are most active at night, when they swim around close to shore while foraging for food, which mainly consist out of small fish and eels. They have lungs, which means they have to return to the surface to breath, which they do around every 20 minutes. They are also extremely poisonous, but have short fangs and are usually very docile, even with divers at close range.
